Qualifications to Become a Driver
for Horseshoe Express
- Must be at least 23 years old and not more than 70 years old.
- Must have a minimum of ONE (1) year over the road experience with reefers and vans.
- Must furnish Horseshoe Express with a copy of the long form physical and a copy of
your current medical card.
- Must take and pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Must pass driving test -- Must show ability to operate vehicle in a safe and professional manner.
- Must have proof of satisfactory State driving record.
- Must be familiar with Department of Transportation's laws governing weight, speed,
driving hours, log compliance, vehicle inspections, etc.
- Must have current, valid commercial drivers license with endorsements for HAZMAT.
- Must meet qualifications under Section 391.11 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulation Book.
